Salone del Mobile 2013

Edward Barber and Jay Osgerby will present their first project for Knoll at this year's Salone del Mobile. The collection includes upholstered pieces, cast aluminium side tables and a stool. They will also show new, coloured lacquer versions of the Tobi Ishi table for B&B Italia, and their Bell Lamp for Louis Vuitton will be on display at the company's Via Montenapoleone store. London Underground £2 coin

Edward Barber and Jay Osgerby have designed a £2 coin for the Royal Mint, to commemorate the 150th anniversary of the London Underground. The coin depicts the familiar image of a Tube train emerging from a tunnel; the outer ring of the coin is used graphically to suggest the tunnel walls. A limited number of the coins are now in circulation, with more to follow later in the year. More here.
